By using Coudmain, you accept these terms of service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our platform.
Service Description
Coudmain is a platform connecting clients and professionals in Quebec. We facilitate contact between parties but do not intervene in transactions or work performed.
User Accounts
To use our services, you must:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Be responsible for all activity on your account
- Be at least 18 years old
Professional Obligations
As a professional on our platform, you agree to:
- Provide truthful information about your skills and experience
- Possess the necessary qualifications for the services offered
- Act professionally with clients
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Client Obligations
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions of your needs
- Treat handymen with respect
- Honor your payment commitments to handymen
Prohibited Behavior
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Creating fake profiles or identity theft
- Using the platform for illegal purposes
- Harassment or abusive behavior towards other users
- Sending spam or unsolicited content
- Attempting to bypass platform security measures
Limitation of Liability
Coudmain acts as an intermediary and cannot be held liable for:
- The quality of work performed by handymen
- Disputes between users
- Direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the platform
Reviews and Ratings
Reviews are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove any review that does not comply with our code of conduct or contains defamatory content.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that does not comply with these terms of service, without notice or compensation.
Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
Technical Support Access
For technical support and resolution of reported issues, our administrators may temporarily access your account to:
- Diagnose and reproduce technical problems
- Debug errors specific to your account
- Assist you in using the platform
These accesses are strictly regulated: all sessions are logged (audit trail), time-limited, and performed only by authorized administrators. No changes to your personal data are made without your explicit consent.
